Who are its users?
DROPET is aimed at the main players in the ethanol sector worldwide, including producers, traders and end-users. The service has already attracted some of the largest companies in the sector and has negotiated over 35 positions since September 2006.
How does DROPET work?
When a registered user adds a position, DROPET verifies the information before it is published. Once the information is accepted and posted, DROPET automatically sends an alert advising of the new position, to the users which have been cleared by the counterparty.
All information is tailored to each user and is treated with the privacy established by the client. The system offers flexibility so that users can take advantage of the services that best meet their needs. At the same time, DROPET provides users with the option to reject companies they do not wish to transact with, on a permanent or temporary basis.
